1. Overview of the patient’s condition
The patient suffers from vitiligo, and the area of white spots is large, totaling 48cm², distributed in many parts such as hands, back, chest and legs. In response to this situation, we have developed a comprehensive treatment plan, which aims to achieve the best therapeutic effect through narrow-band ultraviolet 311nm UVB lamp irradiation treatment combined with dietary conditioning.
2. Treatment plan
(I) Narrowband ultraviolet 311nm UVB lamp irradiation treatment
(1)Equipment preparation: Use a single narrow-band ultraviolet 311nm UVB lamp produced by Philips to ensure stable equipment performance and accurate light wavelength.
    (2)Irradiation method:
1)Preparation before irradiation: The patient needs to wear light, breathable clothing so that the skin can be fully exposed during the irradiation process. At the same time, the doctor will check the patient's skin condition to ensure that there is no damage, inflammation or other conditions that are inappropriate for exposure.
2)Exposure dose and time: Depending on the patient’s skin type, severity of condition, and location, the doctor will set the appropriate dose and time. Generally, the initial irradiation time is 20 seconds, and then gradually extended according to the patient's tolerance and treatment effect. The maximum time is 250 seconds for the face and 500 seconds for the body. The irradiation dose must be strictly adhered to the instructions to avoid excessive skin damage.
3)Frequency of irradiation: Usually irradiation treatment is carried out 2-3 times a week. The specific frequency needs to be adjusted according to the patient's condition and treatment effect.
4)Irradiated areas: White spot areas such as hands, back, chest and legs all require irradiation treatment. During the irradiation process, the doctor will pay attention to protecting the patient's eyes and skin in non-treated areas to avoid ultraviolet damage.
    (3)Precautions:
1)During the irradiation process, the patient needs to remain still to avoid uneven irradiation affecting the treatment effect.
2)After irradiation, patients need to pay attention to moisturizing the skin to avoid dry skin, itching and other uncomfortable symptoms.
3)During radiation treatment, patients need to avoid using drugs or cosmetics that may irritate the skin to avoid affecting the treatment effect.

(II) Dietary conditioning
(1)Dietary principles: Patients with vitiligo need to maintain a balanced diet and consume more foods rich in vitamins, minerals and protein, which can help enhance the body's immunity and promote the production of melanocytes.
    (2)Specific suggestions:
1)Eat more fresh vegetables, fruits and whole grain foods, such as spinach, celery, carrots, apples, bananas, etc., to supplement the vitamins and minerals your body needs.
2)Appropriate intake of high-quality protein foods, such as lean meat, fish, eggs, milk, etc., can help maintain the normal function of the immune system.
3)Avoid eating foods rich in vitamin C, such as green peppers, cabbage, tomatoes, etc., because vitamin C may reduce serum copper and serum copper oxidase levels and affect the synthesis of melanocytes.
4)Avoid eating overly acidic foods, such as green onions, raw garlic, onions, etc., to avoid irritating the skin and affecting the treatment of vitiligo.
5)It is forbidden to drink alcohol, as drinking alcohol may cause skin allergies and aggravate the condition.

3. Precautions
(I) Precautions during treatment
(1)Keep the skin clean: Patients need to keep the skin clean regularly to avoid skin infection or inflammation.
(2)Avoid sun exposure: Patients with vitiligo have relatively sensitive skin and should avoid prolonged exposure to the sun to avoid aggravating the symptoms of white spots on their skin. When doing outdoor activities, you need to take sun protection measures, such as applying sunscreen and wearing a sun hat.
(3)Follow the doctor's instructions: Patients must strictly follow the doctor's instructions when using drugs or treatment methods, and avoid adjusting the dosage or stopping the medication on their own.
(4)Regular examinations: During treatment, patients need to undergo regular skin examinations so that doctors can keep abreast of changes in the condition and adjust treatment plans.

(II) Dietary precautions
(1)Reasonable diet: Patients need to maintain a reasonable dietary structure and avoid bad eating habits such as partial eclipse or overeating.
(2)Avoid irritating foods: Patients should avoid spicy, greasy and other irritating foods to avoid irritating the skin and affecting the treatment effect.
(3)Increase nutritional intake: Patients need to increase the intake of nutrients rich in vitamins, minerals, proteins and other nutrients to improve the body's immunity and promote the production of melanocytes.
